This video is a remote interview with Paul discussing his past cars and why he chose the Miata over a BMW M4 convertible and Bentley Continental GTC while shopping for a replacement for the Audi R8 V10 Plus. I, Ben, currently own a 1991 BRG Limited Edition Miata and previously had a classic red 1995 Miata as my weekend car, alongside my MK6 GTI DSG and Mini Cooper S (6-speed).

It's a common question; and the truth is, they do have transmissions. Most drivers won't notice, because most electric cars have single-speed transmissions, meaning they never shift gears.
